What listless lives we must lead to keep coming back to the music trough for a free nip at nostalgia. Or perhaps we're just that fulfilled and this is the apex of our contention with throwing off the garbs of another grueling day. Whichever, the music presses and passes on. Past Frid, Freud and fantasy. Selby and the remaining series cohorts are now long in the tooth and it won't be many years before the entire enterprise is a dreamscape from the past.
While "Quentin's Dream", as realized by Charles Randolph Grean and his Sounde machine, isn't exactly Corbet's vision, it is passable fare. Too poppy and not enough of the darkness which encompasses the Shadows soundtrack, despite the show's less-than-macabre presentation as gothic horror. But enough of my prattling on.
